Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml / 120g) of oat flour
  • 4 cups (960 ml) of water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) of milk
  • 2 tsp (10 ml / 10g) of Niter Kibbeh (Ethiopian clarified butter)
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml / 42g) of honey

Instructions

  1. Mix the oat flour with milk and water, and start boiling it for 20 min. while continuously stirring until the mixture gets creamy and smooth.
  2. Then add the Niter Kibbeh and honey, and continue stirring for a bit until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  3. Remove your Aja Atmit from heat and serve hot.
